As the earth’s human population increases, more and more natural resources are consumed and wasted without people truly understanding the importance of a bio-diverse ecosystem. We find many species and ourselves threatened by modern disease, pollution, diminishing natural resources and wild lands. Eventually we create a desert where there once was Eden.

Thus springs forth the Oasis Botanical Sanctuary to protect and provide the life force towards the restoration of Ecolibrium. Today we find that people are becoming more and more conscious of the proper "part to play" in the environment, as we become drawn together to organize at a grassroots level. Only through this can we find real solutions to the famine, disease, and economic distress that plagues the world of today. The purpose of this new corporation is to scientifically conduct research to educate the public on a wide variety of concepts involving environmental stewardship and eco sound development, so that the health and prosperity of all species may be sustained for a common future. Some of the proposed projects of the Oasis Botanical Sanctuary are:

  • · To organize lectures and seminars by experts and professionals on a wide range of subjects, including nutrition, organic gardening, eco-ethics, conservation, preservation, and restoration
  • . · To promote nature appreciation through trail maintenance, hikes and educational expeditions, as well as ecological restoration programs.
  • · Create a botanical sanctuary as a standard for ecological restoration, sustainability, and to become a model for future generations to live and prosper by.
  • · Help communities to develop sustained organiculture, composting and recycling/reuse programs.
  • · Organize spring and fall festivals to promote a spirit of environmentalism with natural product demonstrations and health opportunities.
  • · Create an informative news magazine to enlighten the public on how we can do our part to better sustain the ecosystem.
  • · Work with and promote other social clubs, cooperatives and associations with similar environmental purposes.
  • · Create a computer data base on the phytological, ecological and biodiversity of earth as a Super organism.
  • · Conduct research projects involving ecologically modern technology and urban sustainability, as well as phyto-chemical processing.

The goal of our first year campaign will be to raise $10k as "seed money" for the setting up and running of operations at the corporate office. The initial funds will be used to purchase much needed office equipment, supplies, mailing permit fees, and fundraising incentives
